Mother’s Day is celebrated around the world on different days in different countries. In the US, Canada, and Australia, it’s the second Sunday of May.

Established back in 1907 (after 40 years of pushing for it) as a US national holiday to honor mothers and a celebration of motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in our society.
